About Us

Cranford Park CE Primary School is a one-form entry primary school that opened in September 2010 following the amalgamation of Yateley Infant and St Peter’s CE Junior Schools.

As a primary school we provide continuity for the children as they progress from Year R to Year 6. Teachers and support staff work closely together to plan the curriculum from Early Years to Y6 and ensure that all children have full access to high quality teaching and learning experiences. We develop home-school and community links to make sure we are serving the needs of all our families.

The school aims to develop all children so that they achieve their full potential. We aim to do this by recognising and building upon their strengths and by identifying their needs and ensuring that these are met.

We believe that children learn best through first-hand experience and our curriculum is designed with this in mind so that pupils are stimulated and motivated to learn. Children are encouraged to take increasing responsibility for their learning, which promotes confidence and independence.

We have high expectations of our pupils and promote the highest standards of behaviour, (click here for our behaviour policy) based on the core values of Peace, Courage and Respect. Our close links with St Peter’s Church enables the children to explore their own faith as well as that of others, with our prime aim being that children develop undertanding, tolerance and a sense of awe and wonder- whatever their own faith and background.
